Monica is Ross' younger sister. When she was younger she was much, well larger until Ross' college roommate, Chandler, said she was fat. Monica is a neurotic obsessive with an unhealthy fixation on marriage, children and tidiness. She is well known for her many boyfriends which have included Paul the wine guy and fun Bobby. Her mother constantly puts her down and believes she'll never be successful in their career or personal life. She is an accomplished chef and thought she'd found the man of her dreams when she catered for a friend of her parents - Richard who is an optician. However, their relationship ended when Monica discovered that Richard didn't want any more children. But she's found happiness with Chandler after they got together at one of Ross' weddings in London. They managed to keep their relationship secret for months and they nearly got married in Las Vegas when visiting Joey there, but they decided to move in together instead leaving Rachel with no where to live.
